In a couple of weeks I will be in the Big Island of Hawaii for this big Visionary Art Festival called Alchemeyez. From the 10th to the 13th of June all sick artists will be in attendence with a great musical lineup aswell. Buy your tickets at www.alchemeyez.com !

So a few weeks ago I ventured back to the famous T.A. wall in order to shoot some photos for the film SUHA. When I arrived I was totally fucking shocked, EVERYTHING was buffed! (click on ROBBY REIS’ images below for a panoramic view) It seems that the Ville de Montréal thought it would be a great idea to take away a VERY culturally significant sector of ours. Every major City has it’s own unique Graffiti Hall of fame, and ours has been wiped clean. Who knows if it will ever go back to what it was..

Vous êtes tous conviés aux festivités du 5e anniversaire!! Notre exposition se déroulera au Cégep du Vieux-Montréal du 31 août au 11 septembre ‘09. Le vernissage est vendredi 4 septembre de 18h à 22h, suivi d’une soirée au bar Salon Officiel au son des Payz Play Supa dj’s !!

Chers amateurs d’art, médias et amis,Le collectif d’art La Paria souffle 5 grosses chandelles et vous invite aux festivités de ce 5ième anniversaire! Les artistes les plus établis du street art, skateboard art et graffiti seront réunis sur les murs du Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, du 31 août au 11 septembre prochain. Situé en plein coeur du Quartier Latin, le collectif a la chance d’être accueilli pour une exposition annuelle au «Vieux», établissement culte des artistes en herbe. Les peintures originales, les photographies et les projections vidéos exposées représentent une culture en expansion et contribuent au courant artistique le plus marquant de la décennie. Les évènements du collectif ont attiré plus de 1000 visiteurs par semaine d’expositions et ses 25 artistes promettent de vous en mettre plein la vue pour cette édition 2009!
