Vous êtes tous conviés aux festivités du 5e anniversaire!! Notre exposition se déroulera au Cégep du Vieux-Montréal du 31 août au 11 septembre ‘09. Le vernissage est vendredi 4 septembre de 18h à 22h, suivi d’une soirée au bar Salon Officiel au son des Payz Play Supa dj’s !!

Chers amateurs d’art, médias et amis,Le collectif d’art La Paria souffle 5 grosses chandelles et vous invite aux festivités de ce 5ième anniversaire! Les artistes les plus établis du street art, skateboard art et graffiti seront réunis sur les murs du Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, du 31 août au 11 septembre prochain. Situé en plein coeur du Quartier Latin, le collectif a la chance d’être accueilli pour une exposition annuelle au «Vieux», établissement culte des artistes en herbe. Les peintures originales, les photographies et les projections vidéos exposées représentent une culture en expansion et contribuent au courant artistique le plus marquant de la décennie. Les évènements du collectif ont attiré plus de 1000 visiteurs par semaine d’expositions et ses 25 artistes promettent de vous en mettre plein la vue pour cette édition 2009!

Labrona just spent the last month and a half at Homegrown skateboards in beautiful La Have Nova Scotia.
He managed to get two new prints done : “We really went all out this year five color prints, fancy paper and bigger more detailed drawings”

Thank you VERY much to EVERYONE who came out to the FUNDRAISER PARTY for my next film SUHA! Hey gang, In order to raise some funds for my upcoming short film project entitled SUHA, the wonderful ladies at SNAP! Magazine are throwing a fundraiser event which you are all invited to! HOW CAN YOU HELP? Show up…dance…drink…donate a little (if you can)… and spread the word! There’s going to be music by Dj’s BRUCE WAYNE & WILLIAM DE SAMMAN and if you’re looking to get your hands on some great artwork you can help by purchasing any of the following items for no more than $10:
* Hand printed RAGE5 posters (multicolored stenciled prints 18” x 24”)
* Screen printed RAGE5 post cards (3” x 5”)
* And be sure to buy a raffle ticket…there will be some more RAGE5 artwork up for grabs if your ticket is picked out of a hat!

* PAINT - If you have some half empty cans of spray paint or some left over gallons of WHITE latex paint bring it on down so we can use it the film!
